412 Mile 9/11 Memorial Walk.
In remembrance of those we lost, honor of those who served, compassion for the families who have lost loved ones, and support for those battling 9/11 related illness and cancer…I walk.
In an effort to promote positive changes, and national support…I walk.
As an American Patriot…I walk.
My journey will begin on August 15, 2021, at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, PA. From there I will be walking 176 miles to the National Pentagon Memorial in Washington DC, and for my final stretch I will be walking 255 miles, ending my journey at National 9/11 Memorial and Museum on September 11, 2021.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the day we will never forget, September 11, 2001. On that fateful day, 19 al-Qaeda affiliated hijackers caused the deaths of 2,606 U.S. citizens, and 372 non-U.S. citizens (excluding terrorists).
- 343 Firefighters
- 72 Law Enforcement Officers
- 55 Military Personnel
Cancer Plagues our 9/11 Heroes. As of September 11, 2020, NYFD has lost over 227 firefighters, and NYPD has lost over 200 law enforcement officers, both due to confirmed 9/11 related cancers and illnesses…thousands of other 9/11 first responders have been diagnosed.
Families Left with Only Memories. It only took 73 minutes for over 3,000 children to lose a parent, and over 1,600 were left without a spouse, on September 11, 2001.
The Journey Comes with a Cost. Your financial support will provide over 20 days of food, water, shelter, escort vehicles, and medical assistance.
