In 2017 we bought a beautiful brand new home and were super excited to raise our daughter in our forever home . Well 3 months after we bought the home we started to have issues. We were told it was settling and be fine … fast forward 6 months and our whole foundation has shifted and as you can see in the photos it changed rather quick . Doors won’t stay closed or stick shut, windows are bowed and stick shut ,dry wall crack and the screws are coming out , the floor is so un even the transition strip pop and become dangers tripping hazard, and the electrical is going . We have been fighting with a lawyer for going on three years now and sadly the house could be condemned but we would have to pay out of pocket but there would be no way . On top of dealing with a falling apart house, in 2018 our world was shattered our then 3 year old daughter Riley Grace was emergency admitted to phoenix children’s hospital were we learned she had renal stenosis of both kidneys and found out about her first genetics disorder called nuerofibromatosis or NF1 . So we started to deal with her kidney issues and a broken house… now we enter March of 2020 . On March 3rd our lives were shattered again . Our daughter was at McDonald’s playing with her cousin when her aunt had noticed she was having a stroke we then took her to the ER where they life flighted her down to phoenix children’s hospital and after multiple test we found out she had a super rare genetics disorder called moyamoya disease… she had emergency brain surgery on March 10, 2020 . We also had learned her left side would be need brain surgery as well but not asap as the right . Sept 17th, she has her second brain surgery both sides had a operation called a onlay by pass . And as of November 2020 we are still in our home which falls apart everyday and is dangerous and still fighting the legal battle . And as I type this November 20th 2020 we are sitting in Phoenix children’s hospital doing a kidney functions test to see if her right kidney has died off or we can save it and see if her left kidney is going and possibly needing a transplant. Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts it has been a very trying time . Her dad scott noreen are both army veterans i served active duty fromSeptember 2003 to September 2008 and two tours to Iraq. My husband sever active duty from 2006 to 2014 with 1 tour to Iraq and then did 3 years national guard .
